What is the difference between an EMT and a Paramedic?
EMTs are trained in basic medical care. They are often the first responders in an emergency. They assess patients, provide care, and monitor conditions during transport. Our 5-credit program can be completed in just 3 months!
Paramedics can do everything an EMT does, but with additional training and education, can perform a higher level of emergency care and more complex life support procedures. Our certificate program includes clinical and field experience.
